I have always had a passion for design, buildings and interiors and I loved drawing and designing from a very young age.

I qualified with an honours degree in Civil & Structural engineering in 1995. I worked for a number of large Consulting Firms in the UK and Australia before co-founding a successful consulting firm in Leeds in 2000. I returned home to my native Cork, and continued to design and Project Manage a variety of developments, including a new bio-technology park, the award winning refurbishment of Cobh Customs house and many other commercial and residential projects. I became a chartered member of the Institute of Engineers of Ireland in 2004 and I continue to maintain my knowledge and skills in this area.

In 2008 - having refurbished and designed a number of houses in Ireland and the UK - I decided to formally train as an Interior Designer. I obtained a Diploma in Interior Design, with distinction (96%) and began working on commercial and residential interior design projects. I soon recognised a need for affordable, personal and practical interior design services. I decided to set up Room Renovator to provide this and here we are!

I also offer a range of residential and commercial interior design services throughout Cork and Muster as well as Online services throughout Ireland. See here for more information about my residential or commercial design services.
