Large Extension & remodel, North cork

This  project involved the demolition of an outdated sunroom. A bright & spacious open-plan extension included the new kitchen, dining, and living area. My favourite part is a stunning full-height rear window and skylight that brings in abundant natural light, while framing the wonderful views. I added a  master bedroom balcony and designed the  interiors  to elevate the entire space. The result is perfect blend of style and functionality!

Large Extension & Remodel, Bishopstown, Cork

This project included a two storey side extension, a large single storey back extension and a complete remodel of the interior layout of a run down 4 bed semi detached house.  The renovated house has 5 bedrooms with 2 ensuite bathrooms, 2 walk in wardrobes, an open plan kitchen dining living room and two further reception rooms. My design features included a secret pantry, a hidden walk through wardrobe, a feature new front landing window with vaulted ceiling and drop down chandelier.

Extension and remodel of an old cottage near mallow, Cork

This project transformed an old 2 bedroom cottage into a fabulous family home. The cottage was restored to its former glory with exposed stonework and heritage windows, remodeled to include 4 bedrooms. A new single storey extension was added to include an open plan family space, ideal for living and entertaining.  A connecting block between the existing cottage and new extension included new entrance hallway with a feature stairwell, a  generous bathroom and a practical utility room.

extension & Remodel of a 1970's coastal bungalow, cork

This projecte included the renovation of a 1970's coastal bungalow. The garage and existing kitchen were combined to create a stunning open plan kitchen/dining area with a vaulted ceiling and a corner window.

Two bedrooms were combined and remodeled to create a luxurious master suite with relaxing area, walk through dressing room and en suite shower room. 

A new stone faced porch and new hallway created an inviting entrance.

This project included relocating the existing utility room and using that additional space to completely alter the open plan kitchen dining and living room to optimise the overall space.

Existing unused space was repurposed to create new living areas, a home office and lots of much needed storage. Bedroom and bathroom layouts were also optimised and given a facelift.

The relationship between the house and external areas was completely revitalised. 

extension & Remodel of a boutique heritage cottage in blackrock, cork

Less is definitely more here in this beautiful period cottage in Blackrock, Cork. This project was all about making the best use of space and getting lots of natural light into this home. 

A dilapidated lean to at the back of the house was replaced with a two storey extension. Clever light wells over the new kitchen and upstairs bathrooms bring abundant light. 

Innovative partitioning gives privacy while still allowing light to filter through.

The charm of the cottage is retained, with great new functionality.

extension & Remodel of a contemporary home near crosshaven, Cork

This house was transformed by removing walls and making the most of the stunning views. The kitchen was transformed from a dark narrow room to a bright open plan space for all the family.

New picture windows were added to frame the views and capture sunlight. 

A new utility room with lots of practical storage and a snug for quiet relaxation were created. 

The front enhanced was for an inviting welcome.

extension & Attic conversion of a terraced period property in ballintemple, cork

This house was a period workers cottage entering into private ownership for it's new family.

Demolishing old structures at the rear allowed for the creation of a beautiful and bright extension with an open plan kitchen/ dining/ living area. The unique roof structure allowed some much needed southern light into the back of the property.

The first floor was reconfigured to include an en-suite bathroom with a walk in shower.

A new spiral stairs was added to access the attic which was converted into a useful multi purpose space.
